We respect your privacy and your rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). If you wish to permanently delete your account and associated personal data, please follow the steps below.
1. Your Right to Deletion
Under Article 17 of the GDPR, you have the “Right to Erasure” (Right to be Forgotten). This means you may request the deletion of your personal data, subject to certain legal and contractual obligations.
2. How to Submit a Request
To request deletion of your account, please submit a support ticket through RGS Support:
Click the “SUBMIT A TICKET” button at the bottom of the screen
Select 'Ticket Request'
Select 'Account Deletion' under 'Problem'
When submitting your ticket, please include:
The email address associated with your account
A confirmation statement such as:
“I am requesting the deletion of my account and all associated personal data.”
3. Verification of Your Identity
To protect your data, we may need to verify your identity before processing the request. This may involve:
Confirming information linked to your account, or
Asking you to respond from the email address registered with us
4. Processing Time
Once you submit your request, we will send you a confirmation message.
Your request will only be acknowledged after you confirm the deletion request.
After confirmation, your account will be scheduled for deletion and will be permanently deleted within 30 days (unless legal obligations require us to retain certain information).
If you change your mind, you may cancel the deletion request at any time during the 30-day period by contacting our support team.
You will receive a final confirmation once the deletion is complete.
5. What Happens After Deletion
Once your account is deleted:
Personal data (such as your profile, contact details, and activity logs) will be erased or anonymized.
Transaction/financial records may be retained as required by tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention laws.
You will lose access to your account, content, and any associated services.
This action is permanent and cannot be reversed.
6. Exceptions
In some cases, we may not be able to fully delete your data immediately if:
Retention is required by law (e.g., financial, legal, or compliance obligations).
Data must be kept to resolve ongoing disputes, enforce agreements, or detect/prevent fraud.
In such cases, your data will be securely stored and restricted from further processing until deletion becomes possible.
