Security Tips by Account Type
Guest Accounts
Guest accounts are stored only on your device and are highly vulnerable to loss if your device is reset, lost, or changed.
To secure your data:
- Link your guest account to an email, Facebook or Google Account as soon as possible
Social Media Accounts (Google/Facebook)
Even if you use social login, extra steps can further protect your account:
- Ensure your social media account is also secured with a strong password and two-factor authentication (2FA)
- Use a strong password with at least 8 characters, including:
- Uppercase and lowercase letters
- Numbers
- Special characters
- Never share your password with anyone — even people claiming to be support staff
Account Binding
We strongly encourage all players to bind their RGS Account to more than 1 login method. Binding your account allows you to log in using any of the linked methods — giving you more flexibility and added security. The more login options you bind, the easier it is to recover your account if you ever lose access.
